We played at Wychwood Festival 2018. This is a great medium sized festival held at Cheltenham Racecourse. The headliners this year were Shed Seven, The Gipsy Kings and Feeder. My personal favourite was Toyah Willcox and I’ve always enjoyed the comedy on the Hogoblin stage too.
It was prime festival weather on the day: scorchio. We love playing at festivals because people are loosened up and ready to join in. About half of our performers came on the train from Bristol where they’d already immersed themselves in the festival vibe. We played an afternoon set in The Wheelbarrow tent where we did get some people dancing. That was followed by an interview with WychwoodFM where we also played for a few minutes. Our main job was leading the carnival procession which seemed to go really well.
