We are available to lead drumming & dance workshops, performances, at festivals, parties, schools, and private & corporate events.
BREAKING NEWS... African Sambistas in collaboration with Samba Sulis, have won the award for 'Best Samba Collective' at the 2009 St Paul's Carnival Awards!
African, African Samba, Samba Fusion, Samba inspired dance with a body percussive 'twist'. Join us for weekly classes EVERY Wednesday at St George Community Centre 8.15pm - 10.15pm. Classes are taught alternate weeks by Rachel de Garang & Jenny Rintoul. Everyone is welcome and no experience is required.
Participants are offered diverse teaching styles and a chance to learn the skills of improvising individually and learning group routines. There are lots of opportunities to perform and take part in numerous dance related events! All classes are fun, and will develop your fitness and stamina levels. Learn to shake your booty with confidence!
